Liguria is the smallest region of Italy, includes only four provinces. One of them has a lovely name – Spezia (Provincia della Spezia). However, we will talk about a product from a province with a no less harmonious name – Imperia, also called Flower Riviera. It is that simple: a province is located near French Riviera and flowers and olives are grown there.
We do not sell flowers in De Licateum, but that you can buy an olive oil from province of Imperia in our shop. Unusually racy extra virgin oil has been made from fine olives cultivar Taggiaska by a small family company, Frantoio di Sant`Agata, for more than 180 years. Products from this small company are well-known and valued by gastronomes in both Europe and USA. Products are DOP certified.
In addition to olive oil, Frantoio di Sant`Agata company supplies De Licateum with a wide range of olive oil delicacies – starting from pesto sauce and sun-dried tomatoes, and ending with mushrooms with basil and staffed pepper. Products have international EU Organic Certification.
